Your Summer Foot Care Routine: How to Adapt Your Ritual for the Hot Season

You've built a routine that works — you've made it a daily habit that seamlessly integrates with your rhythm. When summer arrives, everything around you changes. Not the routine itself, but rather the conditions your skin faces daily: heat, sea baths, sandals, hours outdoors.

The answer isn't to start from scratch. It's understanding what to modify, improve, and where consistency is enough.

No need to change everything

The NYV ritual is already designed for stressful conditions. The Purifying Mousse cleanses without compromising the skin's natural balance. The Mist rebalances and prepares the skin to absorb active ingredients. The Serum works deep down — it doesn't stay on the surface. The Mask is preparatory for intensive recovery, once a week.

What changes in summer is not the products: it's how often your skin needs them. With more factors simultaneously working against the skin, the daily routine becomes more important, not less.

The main risk in summer isn't doing too much: it's forgetting. The mind goes into vacation mode, but the skin doesn't.

The daily summer routine: morning and evening

The ritual is divided into two moments that don't depend on the time — they depend on your day.

Shower time: the Purifying Mousse instead of body soap. This is not a minor detail: a cleanser dedicated to the feet cleanses without compromising the skin's natural balance. In summer, with sweat, sand, and heat, it's the reset that allows subsequent steps to work. Thirty seconds of massage, then rinse.

Treatment time — ideally at the end of the day: Mist over the entire foot surface, thirty seconds for absorption. Then the Active Serum: a few drops, a gentle massage from heels to arch to toes. The skin is clean, prepared, ready to receive the active ingredients.

Extra step

An optional but effective step: light cotton socks after the Serum. They create a microclimate that amplifies absorption overnight — or during any resting period.

Three products, five minutes. Done every day, not when you remember.

The extra step: post-swim misting

After the sea or pool: rinse with fresh water, then a mist of Mist. This is the way to rebalance skin that has just been exposed to salt or chlorine — both capable of altering the natural protection of the skin's surface.

Practical tip

Always keep the Mist in your beach bag.

The weekly ritual: even more important in summer

The weekly Intensive Mask in summer is not an option — it's the recovery treatment that completes the cycle.

Think about what your feet have been through in seven days: sand, salt, heat, friction, exposure. The Mask is when you give your skin more time to repair itself.

How to amplify the effect: apply the Serum first, then the Mask. Active ingredients penetrate better on pre-treated skin. Leave the Mask on for thirty minutes: do not rinse. Remove excess by gently massaging and let the active ingredients continue to work overnight.

What's best not to do

  • Do not exfoliate rough heels with a DIY file: thickened skin in summer is a defensive response. Mechanically removing it unprofessionally makes it grow back faster. The Serum manages it deeply, gradually, in the gentlest way possible.
  • Do not skip the routine "because it's summer": this is exactly when the skin on your feet works the hardest.
  • Do not apply the Serum to wet skin: wait a few seconds after the Mist — water on the surface reduces the absorption of active ingredients.
  • Do not forget sunscreen on the top of your foot: it is one of the most exposed and most frequently missed areas.
